Summary:
In this study, the ANN approach was employed to develop a prediction model for void fraction in a horizontal smooth tube. A proposed ANN architecture was optimized in input parameters and grids with 1319 data, which shows better prediction performance, especially in low void fraction regions, compared to empirical models.
